Experience ‘Living Last Supper’ in Wells

Messiah Christian Church will present a special Easter production called the Living Last Supper at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29.

In 1498, Leonardo da Vinci completed his painting of the “The Last Supper.” As closely as possible, the painting has been replicated in real life and full size. Watch as the disciples and Jesus come to life, played by 13 actors. The Passover table is disrupted as the 12 disciples react to Christ’s warning: “One of you will betray me.” Visitors will hear, perhaps for the first time, of the friendship they each shared with Jesus and the terrible agony as they ask Jesus,” Is it I? Will I betray you?” Visitors will never forget this moving drama along with its original music and beautifully sung songs of the season.

Also, join Messiah for any of their other gatherings for Holy Week.
